Lissitzky

Architectural object
A circular wooden object with a handle in reclaimed oak, conceived in dialogue with Russian Avant-Garde and Bauhaus principles. The composition refers to the architecture of 1920s Constructivism and the industrial design of that period, when utilitarian form became a carrier of artistic meaning. The work is dedicated to El Lissitzky, an artist and architect who shaped the language of avant-garde geometry. The relationship between the circle and the rectangle, complemented by three circular openings, forms a strict constructive structure in which design and art exist on equal terms.
