Malevich

Architectural object
This authorial object is conceived as an architectural composition dedicated to Kazimir Malevich. The structure is built from the primary geometries of Constructivism and Bauhaus — square, triangle, and circle — articulated through natural pink gleditsia and dark reclaimed Caucasian barn oak, pierced by a circular opening. In Bauhaus practice, pure primary colours were often achieved through applied paint; here, the same clarity of “pure colour” is reached through the inherent, unaltered colour of the wood itself. A precisely fitted wedge insert — a technically demanding join — completes the composition with a sharp structural accent.
