This decorative dish is crafted from a solid end-grain slice of wild Caucasian pear wood. Natural cracks in the wood are filled with food-safe epoxy resin tinted with a sapphire pigment, emphasizing the material’s organic structure.
Intense warm tones of the wood — ranging from deep red to copper and orange — create a strong contrast with the cool blue-green hues of the resin, transforming the natural wood slice into an art object.

The interior features a fully transparent reinforced layer, visually closing the composition and enhancing the depth of the form.
The surface is meticulously finished to a dense, stone-like tactile quality, evoking the smoothness of polished marble.
