This double-sided magnetic knife stand was developed by our studio and has no direct equivalents. The object is made from a solid slab of wild pear wood with a live edge; the base is crafted from white acacia (robinia). Inside the structure, powerful neodymium magnets are concealed, with a demagnetization rate of no more than 2% over 100 years.
The rich, intense texture of wild pear wood — marked by deep reddish, dark crimson, and warm orange tones, with expressive grain and natural transitions — is contrasted by the bright yellow-green hue of the white acacia (robinia) base. This vivid yet balanced combination creates a strong visual presence and allows the object to integrate naturally into a wide range of interiors, from restrained minimalist spaces to more classical or eclectic settings.
High-strength Forceberg neodymium magnets securely hold knives on both sides, ensuring comfort and safety in everyday use. This object is not only a functional item but also an art piece. .
