Melnikov

Architectural object
It is made from patinated reclaimed barn oak aged over 50 years, characterized by a naturally deep, dark tone. The form references Constructivist architecture and the work of Konstantin Melnikov: inclined planes and circular openings function as pure architectural gestures. Wood of this age and preserved natural depth is exceptionally rare in contemporary practice, reinforcing the object’s unique position at the boundary between design and sculpture.
