Uruguay Board

A strictly square board crafted from solid reclaimed oak aged for over 50 years. Decades of natural exposure have given the wood its deep, dark tone and a rich, expressive grain. The material is not stained — all color and texture are entirely natural.

The composition is built on the contrast between clear geometry and the living structure of the wood. The circular groove follows the perimeter as an integral part of the form, reinforcing the object’s architectural character and referencing Bauhaus principles: functionality, proportion, and clarity of line.

The working surface is slightly elevated above the tabletop, creating a subtle sense of lightness and visual separation from its surroundings. The object can be used for serving, presentation, or as a standalone table piece. Available as part of a set.

Finish: Two-layer (oil + wax), food-safe certified.
