Deconstruction of Life

Wall sculpture
Created during the COVID-19 pandemic, this sculptural object transforms a solid end-grain cross-section of wild pear into a fragmented structure. The ruptures are traversed by vein-like channels filled with food-safe resin pigmented with turquoise jasper, evoking disrupted life flows and regeneration.
