Seen from above, Wave retains the strict geometry of an ideal square. In this final stage of the form, the side profile opens fully into a broad, continuous wave, extending the gesture to its maximum amplitude. The tension between controlled geometry and fluid movement is brought to completion.
Carved from a single slab of mountain elm, this piece represents the most advanced and resolved version of the form.
